🎮 Fun Facts

  • In high school, I built and CNCed a guitar shaped like an Among Us impostor—yes, it’s playable!
  • At 15, I coded a WoW addon with AI to predict deaths in raids seconds before they happen (but nearly crashed my computer!).
  • I switch between Apple and Android daily—can’t pick a side, but love building apps for both.
  • I’m an anime fan for life—Demon Slayer tops my list. I’m counting down hours for the next movie!
  • Had a “secret” YouTube channel called HeyItsTedde—my first 100 subs were for World of Warcraft videos!
  • I’m currently coding and adventuring in Japan at Aoyama Gakuin University—say hi if you visit Tokyo!
  • My first app? A Japanese reading tool called Furigana Anywhere—ironically, I still use it in class.

Developing Projects for Years

My Story

I'm years old, but I've been coding for more than half my life! Though I first started coding in 2013, it wasn't really anything big, just "Hello World" programs and basic math. However, during my middle and high school years, I was given a chromebook from my school district, and this is when things really started up.

The bus ride to and from my school was agonizingly long. Since it took over an hour both ways, I had to find some way to keep myself entertained without a cell phone, so I decided to make games on Scratch for fun, using the chromebook provided by my school. This led to over 2½ hours of coding practice per day for several years! You can see my Scratch profile here.

In 7th grade, I took my first high school computer science class about programming, and I took the remaining classes in future grades. By the time I graduated grade school, I was capable of writing apps that college seniors were making! However, college applications didn't go too well. Despite having a 34.25/36 on the ACT and a 4.23 weighted GPA, I ended up getting rejected from every institution I applied to, except for two: Oregon State University, and Hawaii Pacific University. I chose Hawaii Pacific University (HPU) because I didn't want to stay in Oregon anymore, and they also gave me a scholarship.

In my freshman year of college, I managed to land a job at Outlier AI, which is where I plan on working until I make my own game company, which has been my dream since my first year of programming at 7 years old.

In my sophomore year, I decided to study abroad in Japan. This was possibly one of the best decisions I made. With my extra 42 credits totaling almost 1.5 years of college, I get to spend 2/5 of my actual college semesters in Japan, add a minor to my degree, learn a new language, and make some new friends who inspired me to add some features to my online game, Eclipse of Eternity.

Thank you for reading my story, and I hope you enjoyed it! Check out some of the projects I've made over the time I spent coding!
